Eric G. Canter is a civil trial lawyer who has been trying personal injury cases for his entire legal career.
Mr. Canter has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1997 after having obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from the Nova Southeastern in May of that year. Mr. Canter is also licensed to practice law in the U.S. District Court for both the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr. Canter graduated from University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in psychology in 1992.
Mr. Canter’s achievements in the courtroom include but are not limited to having obtained multiple multi-million-dollar verdicts and is a recognized member of the multi-million-dollar advocates forum, a national organization recognizing attorneys who have attained more than one million ($1,000,000.00) dollar verdicts for any single client. Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Canter proudly served in the Boys and Girls Club of Fort Lauderdale mentoring disadvantaged youths, in addition to serving as president of the Florida Lawyers Network for four (4) years, from 2015 – 2019. Also, Mr. Canter is a regular contributor to the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
Since the firm’s inception, Mr. Canter has diligently served as lead counsel on thousands of cases. His main areas of practice include automobile negligence, premises liability, wrongful death, healthcare law, and insurance coverage.
